I really liked that the trial version showed the report on what was in the corrupted zip and what was able to be restored, before purchase. This was the impetus that prompted me to purchase it as I was assured that all of my data was able to be retrieved once I activated it. What could be clearer is the key delivery. It took a few hours to receive the instructions. At first I wasn\'t sure if I was getting a physical box shipped, or key delivery via email. Perhaps I missed the instructions, regardless, a simple and obvious 1, 2, 3 ...

I had a zip archive with two files reporting CRC errors. I had a vague hope that a zip repair tool could recover some of the content (after reading the marketing text).Unfortunately, the two tools I tried, yours and DiskInternal\'s, could not help at all in this situation.

Still relevant There is even a newer version of Winzip out there, but this one has a dependable interface and has expanded its features. Running under Vista it seems to work just fine.

I\'m a computer tech, network admin and IT manager with over 30 years experience, all I have to say is, not impressed. Installed the program, selected a rar file with a CRC error, all recovery toolbox did is constantly scan the file with no outcome. Re-tried several times then uninstalled.

This software does exactlly what it says it will. Iwas looking for information about a broken rar and this program is the only one out of the many I tried that gave me the info i wanted .This program will not preform miracles but it does as stated.Great software thank you

Opinion about PolarZip (Forgive my english since I'm french)I needed to put many files (more than 200000) automatically in many different archives, depending on many facts (especially the filename but not only). I wanted it to be free, and available locally and from the web.PolarZip ActiveX offered me that : easy to use, no complicated aspects, only the "base". So far so good So far it works fine. I just needed something free to unzip files. Thanks. I haven't really delved deep into the features. There are other feewares that unzip files and don't make you fill out a survey.

Did exactly what I was looking for I was in need for a zip tool that can deal with a 'Deflate64' algorithm and all my other tools gave me errors. I downloaded PowerZip 7.2 and within only 2 minutes I had the file unzipped on my drive.

Annoying evaluation version I needed a better program for unzipping. PowerZip really does nothing better than the extraction utility built into Vista. The automation feature is okay, but the functionality is so narrow that I found it useless.It offers a default setting for extracting into a sub-folder named after the archive file, but it does not work if you select more than one archive to extract. Looks pretty. The interface is very appealing, and the application is very functional. I have not used it extensively but look forward to the remainder of my evaluation. Thus far I like it.
